The Club is one of the most genial places on the internet. You must not mention golf or fish, however, and if the motion is carried at the next meeting, you will not be allowed to mention wireless either.
I've been a lot busier lately, and discouraged about not knowing how to do a jump cut -even after it was explained! Also, in general, I think you and I had different ideas about what the blog would look like, and I feel out of place.
Well, you're still welcome. I like posting long, thoughtful essays pondering the great things, but I often don't have energy for that. And the key to keep people visiting (assuming that anyone does), is consistency just as much as content. So I've been trying to post more frequently than not.
Do you want to do the jump cuts for me until I figure it out (or, more plausibly, get someone to show me)? If you don't mind, you could do it, and put "by weblogbob83" as a subtitle or something.
